Step Up

This past week I surprised myself by really stepping out of my element. A scheduled meeting to discuss issues was planned and with everyone in attendance, no plan was in place on how the meeting was to proceed. I stepped up and acted as a facilitator to this meeting/group discussion, making sure topics were relavent and that all speakers kept on topic. The comfort level to step up and lead comes with practice, and the fact that the comfort came easier was surprising to me. I was able to find comfort in uncomfortable circumstances. EyeRoll4 the ability to step up when I feel the circumstances arise.
