“Move Along”

I was talking with someone this past week about personal values and creating a working philosophy around these values. It became apparent to the both of us that situations change, but values should not change. I thought of a music video that I watched when I was younger. The song was “Move Along” by All American Rejects. The music video had the singer standing still and everything around him was changing. The singer represents the values in the changing environment because, as the focal point, he stays the same. We should not change ourselves for situations, but rather adapt and be true to the values that we hold. EyeRoll4 the ability to adapt over change.
