You will always be a student

I finished up a book this past week. The book was called Ego is the Enemy. The book had a lot of really thought-provoking ideas, but one that stood out is that we need to realize the fact that we’re always going to be a student in some capacity. This idea can help us grow in humility, but it also can assist in helping us become more open-minded. When we realize that there is a takeaway in every interaction, we are likely to use/learn from interactions and conversations that previously could be meaningless. We can grow and build ourselves up just by paying attention and taking a step back to say “What can I learn from today”. Even if we’re at the top, there’s always going to be something new to encounter. EyeRoll4 the ability to realize that I am a forever student.
