Put your successes in front of your traits

This week I had some assistance in changing my approach to items in my life. I often use my successes to drive my positive thinking and build myself as a more confident individual. When one of my mentors asked me what I bring forth to the table, I responded by listing characteristics about my personality. When people ask what you bring forth, why not just provide the examples of your characteristics first instead of adding them as an afterthought? We use past successes to feel better about ourselves, but why not show them off to let others see. Now I’m not saying throw the humble card out the window, but we should be able to show others the successes that make us real. This is just an idea to ponder as this year comes to a close.
