We are our own worst critic. This is a fact. Even if we’re doing great at something, there’s that little voice inside that keeps telling us that we could’ve done better. Recently I was reflecting on my sparring in class and I’ve consistently been able to “Hang with the big dogs” and hold my own against a larger and more experienced opponent. I’m not saying this to toot my own horn, but when I look back at where I was 5 1/2 years ago, I know that I’m on a greater level than what I believe. Don’t sell yourself or twist words to make yourself less than what you are. We all need positivity this holiday season, so take time to look at your growth and achievements. Be proud of yourself and the people you have built up around you. Happy holidays! EyeRoll4 the ability to see my accomplishments for what they are and not belittle myself.
