Life is crazy most of the time. On top of your list of things to accomplish, add all of the things that could go wrong into the mix. That’s a lot of things to think about! It’s exhausting to keep all of that straight. Anxiety is a pain sometimes. I bring this up because I made another comparison between JiuJitsu training and handling life’s constant challenges. The Dragon Tail that I’ve mentioned the past couple of weeks helped me come to this lesson. I sat down with my instructor and asked the questions to figure out this problem. The first step is simply to recognize the threat, but instead of jumping to a solution to the possible threat, establish the distance right off the bat. Yes, there are things that will cause problems, but if we establish distance or boundaries we can keep those threats at bay. Don’t create a mountain out of a mole hill.
