Questions are the key to growth

I realize that I’ve been slacking on my posts. I’ve been in the process of home updates. One take-away from dealing with salespeople is ask a lot of questions. When you think you’ve asked all of the questions, go back and summarize for them and ask if your summary is correct. Don’t be afraid of guiding the wording that is used so you and the salesperson are speaking in the same language and are on the same wavelength. Getting multiple opinions and expertise on subjects working in combination with your project can assist in your overall decision-making to reach your current objective. The idea of questioning and understanding stretches across multiple variables. If you want to understand something, you take initiative and do your research. Questioning is research. In order to get farther in understanding of any topic, you have to ask questions. After you get answers, it is beneficial to play with those ideas and think how they fit together. More times than none, questions arise from this pattern of tying ideas together. When I was finished with the salesman last night, he stated that I really did research and he appreciated my questions. My corny response was, “I’m a question factory and I like to be prepared to understand more”. EyeRoll4 the ability to connect ideas and continue to ask the right questions for further growth.
