Little gains

My posts this week focused a large part on slowing down. When I was younger, and even sometimes today, I am told to slow down. This idea is overlooked in many aspects of my life. If you tell me to slow down, it’s going to take me that much longer to complete a task. I don’t like being slow. Even when I walk/move at a moderate pace, I am still told to slow down. In any type of transformation, you can’t go fast. If going fast takes place, you are missing out on the adventure. If you walk fast around the block to work, you’ll miss the objects that can make you smile. If you are rushing to reach a goal and it’s not happening quick enough, you may get bored and move on without noticing the strides that you’ve already made. It is always beneficial to take inventory in the little things that occur along the way to success. The little gains that are made along the way can be uplifting in times of doubt. It is beneficial to look back and see how far you’ve come, and this would not be possible if you didn’t slow down. EyeRoll4 the little gains along the road to success.
